I think Inu-Yasha belongs with Kagome--not Kikyo! There are several reasons why I think Inu-Yasha and Kikyo didn't really love each other. You can find these reasons throughout what I've seen of the series (I've seen up to episode 30 and missed three episodes--episodes 1, 21, and 22). I've probably would have seen more of the series on Adult Swim (^_^ Monday through Thursday) by the time you've read this. I'll update this when I find other reasons why Kikyo and Inu-Yasha didn't have a great love.

Okay, one of the things that gets to me the most--and got me hooked on finding more reasons why--is in episode 23, Kagome's Voice and Kikyo's Kiss. When Kikyo telling Kagome about her plan, she doesn't care that Inu-Yasha might be innocent of the crimes she's claiming he did to her. All she cares is that Inu-Yasha pays. If you really love someone, you would forgive them for anything, especially if they were innocent. Now that I think about it, Inu-Yasha might have truly love Kikyo but what feelings he had sort of died when she shot him with an arrow. In episode 23, Inu-Yasha knows he doesn't love Kikyo anymore. He's even thinking about how she looks and smells like Kikyo but she's feels. Really the only feelings he still has for her is guilt and pity for her.

Another reason why I think they didn't love each other, is because of episode 29, Sango's Suffering and Kohaku's Life, and 30, Tetsusaiga is Stolen! Showdown at Naraku's Castle. Naraku turns Kohaku, Sango's brother, against her and friends. Naraku wanted Sango to kill her brother and thus making the Shikon Jewel shard more evil. Sango couldn't kill her brother. She loved her brother and couldn't hate him for want he did. Kikyo and Inu-Yasha was turned against each other by Naraku for basically the same reason (as far as I know of). I think if they truly loved each other, they would confront each other on what they were told the other had done or said, or they would try to find a way to work something out.

Kagome and Inu-Yasha belong to each other. And it's not because she's the re-incarnation of Kikyo. I think the only thing that Kagome got from Kikyo is the Shikon Jewel and her powers. From what I've seen of the series, Kagome doesn't act like Kikyo at all. Throughout the series and pics on the net I've seen, Inu-Yasha has feelings for Kagome. It may not be love yet, but I'm sure at the end of the series, Inu-Yasha does love Kagome. We all know Kagome loves Inu-Yasha. She admits it herself but she doesn't want to believe it.

If you haven't already noticed, I don't like Kikyo so there won't be many of her pics on this site. I needed to get some pics of her for this section cuz I don't like to get pics because I don't think Kikyo should be with Inu-Yasha. See, I'm jealous for Kagome. We all know Kagome can't hate Kikyo for loving Inu-Yasha but I can. Weird? Yes, I know. My sister even thinks so too. I told her I would have probably like Kikyo if I hadn't already hate her before seeing her in the show. Remember, I hadn't seen really seen her in the show when I started watching it.
